Web Designer, Copywriter, and SEO Specialist
Web Designer
We’re looking for a create, collaborative web designer to join our team. We want people who believe in their skills and their perspective and are ready to bring that passion to Scott McKellam projects. Our Designers are excited to push themselves while they’re here and grow quickly.
Responsibilities
- Website design, from landing pages to entire websites
- Email design
- Online ad graphics including PPC display ads and social media ads
- Branded Social media and blog imagery
- Logo Creation
- Print collateral including – business cards, letterheads, etc.
- Ensure visual quality of project, from beginning to end
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to create visually stunning, responsive designs
- Complete multiple types of projects at the same time
- Good time management
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
Background/Requirements
- Minimum one year experience in web or graphic design, preferably in an agency
- Proficiency in entire Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress
- Knowledgeable in current and upcoming design trends
- Great creativity and originality
- Strong conceptual thinking
- Good team spirit and positive attitude
Copywriter
This individual will be working with the Scott McKellam team focusing on writing and implementing strong, optimized copy for clients’ websites and blogs. An individual in this position should be detail- and task-oriented, a strong writer and able to naturally integrate keywords into existing written content. While this position does not require previous SEO experience, the ability to think strategically, complete tasks in a timely manner, and evaluate copy based on keyword strategy is required.
Responsibilities
- Content creation for multiple clients on multiple channels including – but not limited to – social media posts, paid advertising, blogs, website content, taglines, and long-form articles
- Proofing and editing content, websites, and marketing materials
- Work with content marketing and SEO teams for ideation and optimization

SEO Strategist
We are looking for an SEO Specialist with some digital marketing experience who is passionate about the field! Scott McKellam is a fast-paced digital agency seeking energetic self-starters to join our rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities
- Effectively raise brand awareness for clients
- Create and/or implement on- and off-site optimization
- Work with a variety of clients in multiple industries in order to help them achieve business and search visibility goals
- Monitor daily analytics and develop strategies accordingly
- Create and manage content marketing strategies within SEO best practices
- Monitor trending SEO standards and develop implementation plans for a variety of clients
Background/Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Internet/Digital/Marketing industries
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Genuine interest in and knowledge about digital marketing
- Working understanding of Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Webmaster Tools as well as Bing Webmaster Tools
- Webmaster Tools as well as Bing Webmaster ToolsStrong understanding of Google My Business and Local SEO practices
